Commitment to Compliance
ORBRUS is committed to preventing financial crime. We comply with global Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, including recommendations from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and regulations in Switzerland, the EU, Singapore, and other operating jurisdictions.
Purpose
This policy ensures that ORBRUS:
- Verifies user identities;
- Prevents fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions violations;
- Maintains the integrity of the global financial system.
User Verification Requirements
Tier 1 – Basic Access
- Email + phone verification
- Limited to:
- Depositing crypto
- Viewing market data
Tier 2 – Full Trading & Fiat Access
- Government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID)
- Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement < 3 months old)
- Live selfie or biometric verification
- Enables:
- Buying/selling crypto with fiat
- Withdrawals
- Access to ORBRUS Earn, Futures, and Launchpad
Tier 3 – Institutional/VIP
- Enhanced due diligence (EDD)
- Source of funds/wealth documentation
- Business registration documents (for corporate accounts)
Ongoing Monitoring
- All transactions are screened against global sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU).
- Suspicious activity triggers automated alerts and manual review.
- ORBRUS reserves the right to freeze accounts or file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with relevant authorities.
Prohibited Jurisdictions
ORBRUS does not serve users in:
- United States (including U.S. territories)
- Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria
- Any country under comprehensive sanctions
We use IP geolocation and document analysis to enforce these restrictions.
Data Handling
KYC documents are:
- Encrypted and stored in secure, access-controlled environments;
- Retained for 5–7 years as required by law;
- Never shared except with regulators or verification partners under strict confidentiality agreements.
User Responsibilities
You must:
- Provide truthful, accurate information;
- Notify ORBRUS of changes to your identity or address;
- Not attempt to circumvent KYC (e.g., using fake IDs or third-party accounts).
Failure to comply may result in account restriction or termination.
